Privacy Policy

Effective 1st September 2026· Antara Therapy

Who we are

This website is operated by Antara Therapy, a counselling and psychological wellness practice run by Harpreet Kaur at New Delhi. For any question about your data, contact contact@antaratherapy.in or +91-8447341811.

What we collect

  • Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, chosen service, session format, date and time, and any optional note you add.
  • Contact enquiries: your name, email, optional phone number, reason for contacting and message.
  • Payment records: the amount, currency, payment status, and the Cashfree order and payment identifiers. Card, UPI and bank details are never received or stored by us — they are handled entirely by Cashfree.
  • Technical data: Standard server logs including IP address and browser type where our hosting provider records them. We also use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It records pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived — never your name or anything you type into a form.
  • Advertising measurement: We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure whether our ads are working. It records that a page was viewed and that an enquiry or booking was made. It is deliberately not told which service you were looking at, what you wrote, or anything else about why you are here — that information is health information, and we don't send it to an advertising platform.

What we deliberately do not collect

The booking and contact forms are designed not to ask for clinical or diagnostic information. Please don't volunteer detailed medical or psychological history through them. Clinical notes arising from sessions are kept separately under professional record-keeping standards and are not part of this website.

Why we use it

  • To schedule, confirm, reschedule and deliver your appointment.
  • To take and verify payment, and to issue receipts or refunds.
  • To reply to your enquiry.
  • To meet professional record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do use the anonymous measurement described above to see whether our advertising is working, but we never send an advertising platform anything about your reasons for contacting us, your circumstances, or what you discuss in a session.

Cookies

This website sets three kinds of cookie: those strictly necessary to operate the booking flow and payment session; Google Analytics cookies that count visits and tell us which pages are read; and a Meta (Facebook) advertising cookie, used to measure whether our ads reach people who find the practice useful.

The Meta cookie can be used by Meta for advertising purposes, including showing you our ads elsewhere. If you'd rather not be included, your browser's tracking-protection setting or an ad blocker will stop it, and the site works normally without it — nothing about booking or contacting us depends on it.

Third parties who process data for us

  • Cashfree Payments — payment processing. Governed by Cashfree's own privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics — anonymous visitor statistics. Governed by Google's own privacy policy.
  • Meta Platforms — advertising measurement, as described above. Governed by Meta's own privacy policy.
  • Web3Forms — delivers the contact and booking forms to our email inbox. It passes the message on and does not use it for anything else.
  • Hostinger.com — website and database hosting.
  • Hostinger.com — sending confirmation and reply emails.
  • Zoom, WhatsApp — online sessions, where applicable.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are retained as required by financial and professional record-keeping rules. Contact enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted.

Your rights

Subject to professional record-keeping obligations, you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it where we're not required to keep it, or restrict how we use it. Write to contact@antaratherapy.in and we'll respond within 12 to 24 hours.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to booking records is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you promptly.

Children's data

Where a session is booked for someone under 18, the booking is made by a parent or guardian who provides consent on their behalf.

Terms of Service

Effective 1st September 2026

What this website does

This website provides information about Antara Therapy and allows you to book and pay for a counselling or therapy session. Using it means you accept these terms.

Who may book

You must be 18 or older to make a booking. Sessions for children and teenagers must be booked by a parent or guardian, who confirms they have authority to consent to the young person receiving support.

The nature of the service

  • Sessions are professional counselling and psychological support delivered by Harpreet Kaur, who holds a Master’s in Counseling and Family Therapy.
  • Therapy is collaborative. No specific outcome, timeline or result is promised or implied.
  • This is not an emergency, crisis or psychiatric inpatient service, and no medication is prescribed.
  • Where your needs fall outside the scope of this practice, you will be told and, where possible, referred elsewhere.

Bookings and payment

  • An appointment is confirmed only once payment has been received and verified server-side.
  • Fees are listed on the website in Indian rupees and may change; the fee shown at the time of booking is the one that applies.
  • Slots are allocated on a first-confirmed basis. If a slot becomes unavailable during checkout, you'll be offered an alternative or a full refund.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact details so the appointment can be confirmed.
  • Attend on time; for online sessions, arrange a private space and a working connection.
  • Do not record sessions without explicit prior written agreement.

Confidentiality

Session content is confidential, subject to the limits explained at the outset of therapy. Those limits principally concern serious risk of harm to you or to another person.

Intellectual property

The content, text and design of this website belong to Antara Therapy and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective 1st September 2026

Appointment slots are held exclusively for you, and late changes usually can't be filled. The policy below tries to be fair to both sides.

Rescheduling and cancelling

  • 1 day or more before the session: reschedule or cancel at no cost. Cancellations are refunded in full.
  • Less than 1 day before: 50% of the session fee is retained.
  • Missed session without notice: the full fee is retained.

If the practitioner cancels

If a session has to be cancelled by us, i.e. Antara Therapy, you'll be offered the earliest suitable alternative or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Technical failure in online sessions

If a session cannot proceed because of a technical failure on our side, it will be rescheduled at no additional charge. If your own connection fails, we'll use the remaining time as best we can.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Cashfree, typically within 5-7 business days of approval. The exact arrival time depends on your bank or card issuer.

Failed and duplicate payments

If a payment is debited but no booking is confirmed, or if you're charged twice, write to contact@antaratherapy.in with your reference number. Verified duplicate or orphaned charges are refunded in full.

Requesting a change

Reply to your confirmation email quoting your booking reference, or use the contact form. Requests are actioned within 12 to 24 hours.

Disclaimer

Effective 1st September 2026

Not an emergency service

This website and its forms are not monitored around the clock and must not be used to seek urgent help. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, contact emergency services on 112, or the Tele-MANAS national mental health helpline on 14416 / 1-800-891-4416 (India, 24×7).

Information, not diagnosis

Everything published on this website is general information about psychological support. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or advice about your particular situation, and reading it does not create a therapeutic relationship. Nothing here should replace consulting a qualified professional about your own circumstances.

No guaranteed outcomes

Therapy is a collaborative process and responses to it vary. No outcome, improvement or timeline is guaranteed, promised or implied anywhere on this website.

Not medical care

Counselling and psychological support are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment, and no medication is prescribed. Where medical assessment appears appropriate, you will be advised to seek it.

Testimonials

Any testimonial published here is shared with the client's written consent, anonymised, and reflects one person's experience. It is not a prediction of anyone else's.
